Artist's Comments
I realized I had not yet posted actual pictures of this costume as I was going through old pictures and came across some. This shoot was taken before my Nevada Ballet gig. This is the costume that I made last year for faire... Those who've seen this set before may notice that I changed the belt up a bit... for one thing I added shishas (!yup...shisha-happy-mama), cowries, and I attached it to a more sturdy base. Now the belt fits in better with the top, at least I think so.
There was white behind the beaded curtain in the pictures and it looked awwwful to me so I filled it in in Photoshop. I did a terible job and I know it's noticable, but it's *much* better than the white, trust me on this.  Oh, and I tried to edit out a few dust specs from the camera... again, probably obvious, but I had to try ...it was killing me.  |

I've wanted a belly piercing forever, I ended getting my nose first and just never went back for the other... not sure it will ever happen now though. But, who knows?
